Intro to Grammar Package Lesson 30-39 - Workbook. To work on this block and also Oct 28th.

Note: Oct 28th with TTOC - Ms. Hathorn assisting with senior careers. 

 
Hand Out Grammar Workbooks - all booklets will be at the front FYI. 

Please review side board for sections NOT TO DO. 

TTOC - COLLECT ALL BOOKLETS at end of class - whether students have completed or not. Thank you! 

IF ANY STUDENTS GET DONE EARLY - they should study for their big test Oct 30th - 
To Do To Study: Re-read all short stories - Sightlines 8 - Street That Got Mislaid, Ambush & Thank You Ma'am. Students should also check and study their notes - Short Story Structure Presentation, Elements of a Short Story Presentation, Bones of Poetry Presentation and Types of Poetry Hand Out. 

Students - You can try the Practice Kahoots early if you would like to study for the test. I will also be providing students time to prep for the first 30 minutes of class on Oct 30th with these Kahoots as well. 

Reminder: Next Test Short Stories & Poetry Test - Date October 30th 2025 - Double Block - Estimated - 55 MC Questions. + Written Portion - New Short Story & Analysis Worksheet 20 MC Questions

Reminder - we will do a Kahoot review for the short story & Poetry Test - at the start of first block of the double block on Oct 30th in the AM prior to your test! 

Reminder: Next Test - Grammar Test - based on your grammar booklets - following week November 6th 2025.

Attendance Note: Oct 28th with TTOC - Ms. Hathorn assisting with senior careers.  1. Lesson Summary: Oct 28th - Silent Read Personal Novels 20 min   2. Hand Out Grammar Workbooks - all booklets will be at the front of the room labelled FYI. Most students should already have their books with their names clearly at the top - please hand out again. Students to work on these SOLO! For the remainder of the block. Stack all chairs end of block. Note: Girls who were at volleyball will need new booklets - they were not here Oct 27th.
